Guess what Its me. There's a slight problem. I think I've left updating a bit to long because I've forgotten a lot of stuff. haha oh well ill try and write everything I remember from my trip. Where to begin. hmmm
Wednesday, I went to lauras for a while said goodbye then went for our interview with cbc woop. On Thursday I went to school for the morning, said goodbye to some people and talk to all my new teachers and stuff. I left at lunch and finished packing. Left for the airport at 3:30 went through metal detectors and stuff. Waited for the plane. Left around 4:40. We had Celine Dion for our flight attendant. Landed in Montreal 2 hours later. RAN to the Toronto gate. Left right away. Got there an hour and a half later. Waited 15 minutes got on the plane headed for Victoria. That plane was pretty cool except it took forever. And it was small. We watched School of rock and "ate" some craptacular food. Landed in Victoria hours and hours and hours later. Ugh. Walked up to some guy holding a sign that said PEI he took us to get our luggage. Turns out his name was Gary Holmstead He is by far the coolest guy ever. He was our driver. He drove us around the whole week. Man he was so cool. Anyways. He drove us 30 minutes to our hotel. "The Fairmont Empress" swanky hotel that is. Very nice. Old and fancy. Right on the harbor too. How they got us rooms there I have no idea but I'm glad they did because it was great. After we unpacked we went to bed it was around 12 when we went to bed so that's 4 pei time. We were tired. We woke up the next morning went to the "Juan de Fuca Sports Center" Its a crazy place with a curling rink, a hockey rink, a 9 hole golf course, an archery range, two soccer fields, a lacrosse field, an Olympic size Velodrome a Olympic size pool and a fitness center. It was massive! We got 2 hours to practice there. Then we went out to eat. After that it got very repetitive. Every day went like this....Wake up. Go eat breakfast somewhere, Gary would drive us to the curling rink/Hockeyrink(they transformed a hockey rink into a curling rink) woop Then we would play. Go to the hotel for an hour or two. Go Out for supper. Go back to the rink. Play. Go to the hotel watch TV or go to the hospitality room and use the computer. Then sleep. woop except for one day when we had 3 games and another where we only played one....That's about all we did. Throw in some site seeing, an imax movie, a museum tour, a tour of a navy battle ship, feeding seagulls from our window sill, talking to strangers and swimming in the pool. That's about all we did. We went to a banquet one night. I had to wear a tie. Woot. I met a bunch of cool people. The whole Ontario guys team are vegetarians so that was cool. I became friends with the NB and NS teams. They were cool. The Quebec guys were cool too. So were a bunch of other teams. It was good times. But it was really long and playing two long games everyday really tires you out. I was almost dead by the end of the week. And I wanted to come home. The last weekend was nice we didn't have to play we just watched the finals and did some shopping. I got some shirts and a bunch of CDs. Man this is a long post. ohwell. On Sunday night before we left we were sitting around being bored when I had the smart idea to make some coffee. I didn't plan on drinking it. But then I put 15 sugar packets in it and two cream things. It was really good tasted like pure sweetness. That probably wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done.....I was so wired after that I was going crazy. I needed to burn off all my energy so we went down to the pool where a bunch of teams were hanging out swimming and playing with a sponge football. I ran in yelled really loud and jumped in the kiddy pool...Not knowing that it was only a foot and a half deep haha I looked cool. You know you're super cool when you do a belly flop into a kiddy pool. WONK. After that I was still HyPeR so I played catch with the football with a bunch of Quebec guys....After two ours of that I was still wired so I jumped into the hot tub then ran and jumped in the pool and caught the ball in mid air haha woo hoo. After that I was tired so We all went to bed. The next day. We had to wake up at 4am!!! Our plane took off at 7 and I sat between two cool people. A guy from England and a lady from Ontario. They were nice folk. Flying over the mountains right when the suns coming up was probably the most amazing thing I've ever seen. It was breath taking. We got into Toronto airport a long time after. We walked to the Montreal gate waited an hour. Got on this huge plane. A lot nicer than the other planes we were on. Flew to Montreal. Where we proceeded to wait 3 hours! For our plane. The last flight was so unbelievably crappy. I tried to sleep but I couldn't! I was so tired. But the plane was so uncomfortable. We got in at 11:30 and I got home and ate some food and talk to my family and my brothers friend for a couple hours. Then I went to sleep. THAT is my whole story. I probably left some stuff out but I think I covered most of it. All in all it was great trip but I'm so glad to be home. This weekend we are so having a HUGE hootnanny. Because I haven't seen you guys in ages.
